ColourPop Me

Hello Beauties!

Here’s a feature of one of my favorite cosmetics lines, ColourPop. This review touches on two of the newest lines, Ultra Matte Lips and SuperShock Shadows.

Ultra Matte Lip, $6

  • Silhouette
  • More Better
  • Lychee
  • Seesaw
  • Shimmy

Super Shock Shadow, $5

  • So Quiche
  • Hammered
  • Rex

ColourPop Tips for applying the lippies:

Step 1: Make sure your lips are bare and dry! Step 2: Apply matching lip pencil for a precise and perfected application. Step 3: Apply Ultra Matte Lip with the applicator or your favorite lip brush. **For smoothest finish always exfoliate your lips first! This thin and lightweight formula glides onto the lips smoothly and leaves SUPER intense pigment-rich colour with a bold, ultra matte look. It’s very long wearing and completely kiss proof!

More Better

* deep violet wine *

*rich blue red*

*bright warm violet*

*pastel lavender pink*

*pastel baby pink*

The color payoff of these are second to none! Very bright and vivacious. Not to mention, I’ve had these swatches on my arm for more than 24 hours and purposely didn’t wash them off… They are still there! I’d say that’s pretty transfer proof.
ColourPop Super Shock Shadow tips for application:

For maximum coverage: Use fingertip and tap shadow onto eye lid. A flat, fine tip synthetic brush will work fabulously as well and is actually better for a more detailed application close to the lash line. However, your fingertips make for the most intense application. To blend: Use a fluffy brush that has good movement, dip tip of the brush into the shadow and blend with a “wind shield wiper” movement throughout the crease of the eye. This will make your shadow softer and more diffused (like a total pro). When finished, close that sucker up tight! Don’t leave the jar opened for long periods of time, you may lose some of the magic that makes the Super Shock Shadow so amazzzing.

So Quiche

I know you’ve probably heard it before, but:

the pics do these eyeshadows no justice! So much sparkle… Pigmentation… Creaminess… Did I mention Sparkle?! Paired with a primer, I have no issue with longevity. Grab you some of these fast!

MAC Alluring Aquatics mini-Haul and Review

Hey world! Trying to really get into blogging. In order to do that, I have to talk about things I’m passionate about. So, makeup it is today! I recently purchased from the newest collection on MAC counters. It’s selling out fast. Which is why I only purchased four items. image But the four items I did get my hands on are LIIIIFE! Wait ’til you see! Even the packaging is really cute. There are 3D water droplets on some of the packaging. If you’re a makeup lover like me, who occasionally buys products just because they have pretty packaging, you’ll want to go pick these up! 1.  “Silver Sun” Extra Dimension Eye Shadow, $19.50 image This shadow is the prettiest olive green shade, like ever. Great for us brown eyed gals. MUA description: “mid-tone dirty sea foam green.” Layman’s terms: It’s a yellowish green with a golden, frosted sheen to it. Pretty! Swatches: image image 2. “Black Swan” Pearlglide Intense Eyeliner, $17.50 image This type of eyeliner is my friend. It goes on smoothly, and has lots of color so you don’t have to scrape your eye up trying to do a smoky waterline. #cant MUA description: Black with pearl Layman’s terms: Black with a touch of silver shimmer Swatches: image image 3.  “Water Deities” Tinted Lipglass, $16.50 image I’ve been searching for nice gloss to go with the bronzed up face I plan on sporting this summer. I think I’ve found it! MUA description: Light bronzy pink. Layman’s terms: It’s a light bronzed-brown with champagne shimmer. Medium coverage Swatches: image image 4. “Modern Lure” Tinted Lipglass,  $16.50 image I have really done a dark lip in a while, but I’m definitely a fan. This new shade is the perfect deep purple red… it has shimmer! MUA description: deep violet with pink pearl. Laymans Terms: It’s a cool-toned, medium-dark berry-red with pink shimmer Swatches: image image All products can be ordered from MAC cosmetics website.   post divider image           Just thought I’d share my recent purchase with you. Friday Features!

Instagram is addictive! I can spend hours (don’t judge me!) flicking through cool makeup and artsy pictures on IG! I figured Friday is a good day to share my findings 😉

❤️Happy Friday loves! 💋

Guess who’s bizzack!

I haven’t written a blog post in what seems like years. And I have finally figured out why! I was stuck! In transition. Scatter brained. I had a lot on my plate, so the furthest thing from my mind was a blog post. *rolls eyes*

I’m back with a new attitude! I think I have something to share with the world. Whether it be a makeup tutorial; something funny one of my little people did, or just a pretty picture of… anything. I can’t say all that I have up my sleeve, so be prepared for just about anything! lol
